I just got back to the office from a speaking engagement and as I sat down my chair, my boss told me that one elementary school in our region has suspended classes due to the rumors of an earthquake which I posted in my previous blogs. I sort of smiled and told her, “what?!” It’s true that we have to be safe if in case it happens but this has gone way overboard. She also told me and my colleagues that students in other schools were frantic whenever they hear the sound of their bells. Hahaha it’s just the bell for the next period and those students ran down the stairs and went on the field just know it’s a false alarm. I don’t have any grudge to the school wherein they just considered the safety of their students. But I think they forgot one thing, “IT’S A PREDICTION AND WHO IN THE EARTH CAN PREDICT SUCH OCCURRENCE.” I’m just stating my case and no offense meant.
